1) I love motorcycles. I have never owned one. I can count the times I've ridden one on one hand but I love it!
2) I've parasailed in Jamaica and zip lined in Alaska.
3) I travel with my job, I am not a firefighter but I am on a team that tracks the cost of fires for the state of Texas, all on computer. So interesting, meet lots of out of state people and do work out of state sometimes. Actually it's all emergencies, not just fires. I've worked on the shuttle assignment and hurricanes. Very interesting.

Never heard of zip lined before. Sounds like an interesting job you have!

ReplyDeleteMy sister and favorite Aunt live in SE Texas, one on each side of Galveston. Every hurricane season, my family waits in terror each time a tropical storm takes on hurricane strength. They were both devastated by Rita and my Aunt, after the Rita experience, refused to evacuate from Lake Jackson when Ike hit last year. Her house didn't get much damage, but the town sustained plenty. I admire you for the job you do; I would be way too scared!
ReplyDeleteMy job is not scary, I get to the hurricanes after the fact. My fire assignment is not where the fire is. I do worry alot about the firefighters though.
