Being Thankful

Sunday my teacher challenged us to write a letter to God and thank Him for all He has done for us. Try it if you have never done it. My letter could have gone on forever. God has blessed me with a wonderful family and good health and a sweet church family. There is so much more to it than that but it would take too long to write it here. I immediately wanted to start telling Him how grateful I was for His forgiveness. I do not deserve any of the blessing He has given me. The pictures below are 3 of my greatest blessings. I have 2 wonderful sons who have grown up loving the Lord and a sweet daughter in law loves the Lord.

Touch through me Holy Spirit, touch through me.
Love through me Holy Spirit, love through me.

A young woman in our church sung those sweet words this morning. It made me really stop and think. With the Christmas season approaching we are all wanting to give and to receive. We really don't need anything wrapped up in pretty paper. HE is all we need and those words should be our prayer and our gift to HIM.

It's beginning to look alot like....

A Crazy Crazy Place!! I spent the day in Shreveport today doing a little Christmas shopping. I could not EVEN get a shopping cart in TOYs R US! The lines were long, traffic was thick and people everywhere! It did put me in the Christmas spirit though! I bought Riley the cutest little baby doll that sneezes and talks!! Shhh..we can't let her know!! I've always enjoyed Christmas but it is much more fun now with 2 little girls!

Halloween

Riley and Jayda were both bumblebees! I took Riley's pic at her house after the birthday party. Came home loaded them on my computer from the card. Then when her and Jayda were here to trick or treat I took pics of both of them in their bumblebee costumes!! They were the cutest!! Wish I could show it to you but the card was NOT in my camera!! They may just have to dress up again for Grami to get pics again!!!
