My little town is having a Remembrance Day for the people that lost their lives on 911. They are having prayer, speeches and bands. I do not want us to ever forget what happen that dark day. There were so many that lost their lives and so many that risked their lives trying to save people. Since I work for the Forest Service firefighters have a special place in my heart but my heart goes out to all that lost loved ones and those that risked their lives and now their life is never the same. And I am so thankful that we have not had another day like that. Lift them up in prayer today.
I wrote about it in the middle of the night last night....My heart is heavy today...actually wish I was in NYC today.....I pray I never forget that day and every detail....I can remember not sleeping for days...watching TV for 24 hours at a time....HAving to finally make myself leave the house a week later...
